Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha got engaged last weekend in the presence of family and friends at Delhi’s Kapurthala House. The couple twined in ivory ethnic outfits for the dreamy ceremony.
The couple took to their Instagram handles to share their first pictures from the ceremony. Parineeti captioned,
Everything I prayed for…I said yes…Waaheguru ji meher karan.
Recently the actress shared a few more pictures from her traditional engagement ceremony. The new couple hosted a religious chanting.
Parineeti had her hair covered with a lace dupatta in the candid pictures as she joined her hands and greeted a religious leader.
Raghav was all smiles with folded hands. His hair was covered for the ceremony as per Sikh tradition.
Parineeti Chopra opted for an ivory kurta with pearl-adorned flair trousers and a Kashmiri threadwork dupatta by the designer Manish Malhotra. While her beau Raghav Chadha complemented her in an ivory Kurta and trousers with a blush pink waistcoat.
Parineeti expressed gratitude towards Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh for attending their ceremony in the caption. She wrote,
Felt surreal to be blessed by the one and only, Jathedar of the Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh Ji. His sacred presence at our engagement meant everything to us. 🙏🏻
The star went for a minimal glam-up while embracing her natural skin and hair. She opted for a flawless face, smoky eyes, mascara-laden lashes, and nude lips.
She styled her glossy hair in flawless waves pouring down to her shoulders with a center part kept in place by a detailed maang tika.
