Hira Mani is one of the most outspoken figures of tinsel town. She is someone who is known to not mince her words. Perhaps, this is one of the reasons why she remains in the news highlights, as her controversial statements tend to invite public trolling.
Hira is both adored and criticized for her righteous yet ‘miserable’ characters. Her docile bahoo and biwi roles enjoy a separate fandom. She is particularly known for her impeccable ‘crying skills’ on television. She has given many back-to-back hits to the industry with projects like Dil Moum Ka Dia, Sun Yara, Mere Paas Tum Ho, Do Bol, Ghalti, Kashaf, etc. through which Hira grew to new heights. But the portrayal of the run-of-the-mill roles of ‘mazloom’ crying women on celluloid, is her forte – a style that she has perfected over time with many dramas.
Recently, Hira Mani appeared on Nida Yasir’s morning show ‘Good Morning Pakistan’. The host questioned her why she keeps on accepting similar roles of unhappy women depicting ‘rona dhona’ on television. Hira’s recent character is yet again a role of an oppressed woman Muntaha in the drama serial Yeh Na Thi Hamari Qismat who ‘cries a lot on television’. Her candid response blew us away!
The Ghalti star said that she accepted the role because she needs money to pay her bills and to tend to her children. Turns out the actress has good comic timing as well!
