PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi set social media abuzz with their new anthem “Aaya Zalmi” featuring Mahira Khan, Ali Rehman in a visual masterpiece.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is in full swing. With the action underway, one of the things fans love about the cricket festivals are the franchise anthems. We’ve seen Quetta Gladiators kick things off with a gladiator theme track with Shahid Afridi at the forefront alongside Ushna Shah, Adnan Siddique and Bilal Maqsood singing “Shaan-e-Pakistan“.
We will be getting anthems from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Multan eventually. However, everyone is looking forward to what Peshawar Zalmi do this year. Season after season, the KPK franchise has set the bar when it comes to delivering a passionate anthem for their team. Last year’s “Kingdom” was hands down the best anthem in terms of music and video. Now, it’s time to finally see what Peshawar Zalmi brings to the table for PSL 7.
The latest anthem “Aaya Zalmi” is a visual masterpiece featuring Mahira Khan performing martial arts, channeling her inner air-bending skills like Avatar. The song features new artists Zar Sanga, SKD, Zoha , Zara and Tayyab. Check it out!
According to the description for the video, the theme behind this visually strong anthem is the “metaphorical representation of life”. It is all about finding your inner peace and the fight with self to reach one’s true potential.

It was all creative, great graphics and stuff. But we waited for the beat all along like Kingdom last year. Kinda disappointed because it just sounded one paced, no real thrill except for videography. Needed lyrics, music and some beat too for an anthem feel.
