Prime Minister Imran Khan shared a memorable photo from almost 30 years ago and the Internet feels nostalgic.
The premier often shares photographs from his childhood and cricket days on social media to remind his followers that outside the world of politics, he is just like us.
Over the weekend, the prime minister had shared a photo which was taken in October 1992 — nearly eight months after he had led the Pakistani cricket team to the World Cup final victory.
Earlier on Women’s Day, Imran Khan paid a tribute to his mother and wife Bushra Bibi and shared their photos on Instagram. He wished everyone, “Happy Women’s Day”.
Today, the premier will launch an olive plantation campaign in Nowshera. The plantation drive is part of the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme wherein olive trees will be planted at suitable places across the country.
The federal government is promoting the cultivation of olives in the country. It is one of their top priorities to make an effort to save valuable foreign exchange and benefit the farmers as well.
In a recent tweet, he also mentioned that the government’s environmental policies, especially the green recovery programme is garnering global recognition. He wrote,
“Globally PTI’s environment policies are being recognized esp our green recovery programme from the Covid 19 pandemic and our Climate action plan.”
