Muhammad Huzaifa, a 16-year-old from Multan who sells juice to make ends meet, made waves when he scored 1050 out of 1100 in his Matriculation in Multan Board.
His stellar grades resulted in him being offered a full scholarship by Government College University Lahore’s Vice-Chancellor.

According to media reports, Huzaifa was previously offered a scholarship at a private school as well. However, as the sole breadwinner of his family, he cannot afford to quit his job and continue his studies. This was also the reason why he turned down the previous scholarship as well.

Muhammad Huzaifa gets support
To make matters easier on the young boy and his family, Managing Director of Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Chairman Aon Abbas Buppi reached out to Huzaifa and his family.
He revealed that besides funding the boy’s education the welfare body would also provide the family with financial assistance.
All’s well that ends well. We are incredibly proud of Muhammad Huzaifa, but also elated that the government has stepped up to take care of his present and future.
