Bollywood megastar Priyanka Chopra Jonas is ready to make a splash in Hollywood once again as the actress is in talks for the highly anticipated fourth installment of Matrix franchise that is slated for 2021.
According to Variety, Priyanka is in the final talks to join the cast of the untitled fourth film of the Wachowskis’ action franchise.
The Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow film will be directed by the franchise’s co-creator Lana Wachowski. If the negotiations go smoothly, Priyanka will join the original cast that includes Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss as well as new additions that include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris. Details about her role and character are currently under wraps.

The Matrix 4 cast has been training for fighting sequences for some time now as production will begin imminently in Northern California. She will film Matrix 4 concurrently in tandem with Citadel, an Amazon series with Richard Madden that is being helmed by the Russo brothers.
Chopra recently starred in and co-produced The Sky is Pink, an indie in the official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival. She will also be seen in Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes by Robert Rodriguez – an adaptation of the Man Booker Prize winning novel The White Tiger, which she is also executive producing. Priyanka is also developing an Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor for Universal, in which she is set to star and co-produce!
We cannot wait to see Neo back on the big screen and with Priyanka joining the Matrix universe, expect anything! The big question will be, which pill does Priyanka’s character take in the new film. What are your thoughts?
