In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Priyanka Chopra revealed details of her professional, spiritual, and love life. In a shocking revelation, the Bollywood actress claimed her father “used to sing in a mosque.”
The preview of the interview was shared on the official YouTube channel of OWN [Oprah Winfrey Network]. And with just the preview, the interview is already proving to be a bombshell – much like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s conversation with Oprah Winfrey.
Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress, singer, and film producer. However, the 38-year-old has also appeared in Hollywood shows like Quantico. She will also appear in the upcoming ‘action-packed spy series’ Citadel.
She has fans from all around the world- India, Pakistan, and now the USA. On her Instagram account, the star has garnered a whopping 61.2 million followers. And now, she has even appeared for the ‘dream interview’ with the iconic Oprah Winfrey.
In the interview, Priyanka spoke about her book ‘Unfinished‘ and said:
I have to say a little bit of it had to do with that [COVID] but I had committed to writing the book in 2018.
She further explained that due to her busy schedule, she never got around to actually writing the book. However, the pandemic helped her take out the time and write a book on her life. Watch the interview clip here:
Speaking about her husband, Nick Jonas, the actress said:
I truly believe that my mom manifested him because that is what her marriage was like too. She had a marriage of partnership, they worked together, they lived together, they built their home together, they built their life together- in equal partnership- and I saw that while growing up. I am just amazed that I found exactly what I’ve kind of grown up with, with Nick. I just kind of swept, I let it happen.

Priyanka Chopra also spoke about her spiritual life. She revealed that growing up she was surrounded by several religious beliefs such as Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam.
I grew up in a convent school, so I was aware of Christianity. My dad used to sing in a Mosque, so I was aware of Islam. I grew up in a Hindu family, so I was aware of that.
The Dostana actress also claimed that because spirituality is a huge part of India, one simply cannot ignore it. Watch the full video here:
