The Indian actor was caught belting out the patriotic song alongside Pakistani singer Atif Aslam.
Given how “anti-Pakistan” India is nowadays, especially with PM Narendra Modi and his nationalist BJP-led government, anything in favor of Pakistan is heavily frowned upon.
Ironically, actor Ayushmann Khurrana is now in hot waters as a video surfaced of him singing “Dil Dil Pakistan Jaan Jaan Pakistan” on social media.
A video clip has gone viral in which the Indian actor is passionately singing the iconic pro-Pakistan anthem with Atif Aslam. The video left the internet in splits as Pakistani netizens celebrated the unexpected musical collaboration, sharing humorous memes and jokes.
The viral video has left the internet divided with Pakistani netizens laughing their butts off on social media, while Indians are left foaming at the mouth, outraged and bashing the popular Bollywood actor online.
One Indian user tweeted, “Disgusting🤢. Boycott Ayushman Khurana. Exile him to go live in Pakistan.” Another moaned, “The same Atif went to MECCA and he said he was there to pray for kashmiri Muslims and kashmir to get freedom and join to pakistan. Khurana is anti India and should be boycotted.”
It is unclear where the video is originally from, but it is safe to say the clip has certainly enraged Indians, who are demanding for Ayushmann Khurrana’s head. The actor is yet to make a statement about the viral video.
