Pakistan’s pop sensation Rabi Peerzada is known for her quirky and diverse style. The songstress is not afraid to step out of her comfort zone.
Now it seems she may have gone too far in her latest music video. Because she’s gotten too comfortable with snakes.
Rabi Peerzada’s Pain
Rabi Peerzada surely has a devil-may-care attitude, and this time around she’s visualizing loss and pain with the help of snakes.
We’ve all said it sometimes – that some friends are snakes. Rabi Peerzada went ahead and wrote a song about it. We know the track is about fake friends (snake friends) because she said so.
“My song ‘Pain’ with my besties around. I don’t believe in fake friends I believe in strong enemies…”
The singer even made a jibe at such ‘besties’ with her caption.
Since we’re mentioning fake friends, perhaps that’s why her music video also features a crocodile (and its tears).
Rabi Peerzada was really cozying up to all the fanged reptiles. The singer spews venom about fake friends in her track. She believes these reptilian pets of hers are better than fake friends.
“Have you ever held a snake? They are so strong. You can see why there are so many myths about them: they are unlike any other creature. It’s extraordinary how that little brain can keep everything moving in different directions. They are better than so many friends who are there to betray you.”
How comfortable is too comfortable?
Last time the vocalist released a single was earlier this month. The music video for track ‘Beqadra‘ was shot in her native Kashmir.
