Naseem Vicky’s directorial debut Sorry Baba is getting bigger with every day. Now the film has Rahat Fateh Ali Khan composing its soundtrack.
A Rahat Fateh Ali song is a given in a winning Bollywood flick, so filmmaker Naseem Vicky might have that same winning formula in mind.
Naseem has also penned the script for Sorry Baba. Kamran Ejaz is producing the film under the IMGC banner. It should be mentioned that IMGC is the leading film distribution company in Pakistan.
Entertainment.pk reports that one of the biggest names in Pakistan’s music industry, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has signed the contract to compose the music for a film. This is the first time the Tere Mast Mast Do Nain vocalist will be curating the soundtrack for a film.
Sorry Baba producer Kamran Ejaz confirmed the news.
“The contract was signed a few hours ago and Khan Sahab is all set to compose the first song of the film in next 2-3 days.”
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s vocals are a given on any winning Bollywood film. With Bollywood being banned from working with any Pakistani in any capacity, now the Teri Meri singer can now focus his attention to Lollywood.
Now the music maestro finally gets to compose a whole film soundtrack.
Sorry Baba release date is set for Eid-ul-Fitr, but the film’s lead cast is still not finalized. The film is currently in the casting phase. While signing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a huge development, will the filmmakers and crew manage to get the things on the floor soon?
