The novel coronavirus shows no signs of dying down. And now renowned folk singer Rahim Shah has tested COVID-19 positive too.
According to The News, Rahim Shah’s manager revealed that he was quarantined in his house. The Jhoola singer has exhibited symptoms and is now self-isolated.

The manager said doctors have advised Rahim Shah to isolate at home for 24 hours while taking precautionary measures. If his condition deteriorates, the Pregda Che Okrem Deedanoona singer would be shifted to the hospital.
Hospitalization for COVID-19 is not required for a healthy individual. People that are immuno-compromised and senior citizens are most at risk.
That is why it is advised that hospital beds and ventilators be reserved for them. For asymptomatic cases, patients need to isolate, since they might be feeling under the weather but they’re still virulent carriers.

Over 2,500 people have lost their lives to COVID-19 viral outbreak. A total of over 140,000 people have been infected by the disease out of which over 80,000 are still active cases.
