A local court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of social media personality Rajab Butt and his associates in a case involving alleged death threats to fellow TikToker Umer Fayyaz Butt.

Appearing before Additional Sessions Judge Abid Ali, Rajab Butt, along with co-accused Haider Ali and Maan Dogar, sought an extension of their interim bail. Defence lawyer Junaid Khan argued that the accused had already joined the investigation and requested the court to confirm their bail.

The judge, however, extended the interim bail until 24 March and directed the police to submit their findings at the next hearing.

The case stems from an incident last month when Rajab Butt, Maan Dogar, and Haider Shah, allegedly accompanied by armed individuals, reportedly showed up at Umer Fayyaz Butt’s house in the early hours of the morning.

According to the complaint filed by Umer, the group issued death threats and used abusive language during a TikTok live session.

Calling the incident an “attack on his dignity,” Umer Fayyaz sought legal action against Rajab Butt and his associates. The police confirmed that a case has been registered and that legal proceedings are ongoing.

The drama, however, didn’t start at Umer’s doorstep—it began on TikTok, where the two Butts (no relation) have been embroiled in a bitter feud. During a live session, Umer Fayyaz allegedly used foul language directed at Rajab Butt’s mother and sister, sparking outrage from Rajab and his supporters.

In response, Rajab Butt defended his family and fired back at Umer and his brother, Ali Butt, accusing them of tarnishing the reputations of several girls. Rajab also issued a warning, threatening to expose personal secrets if the brothers continued to target his family.

This isn’t Rajab Butt’s first brush with controversy. Known for his family vlogs and social media presence, Rajab has faced multiple legal issues, including a separate case in Karachi. While his fans continue to support him, his critics argue that his online persona often fuels unnecessary drama.
