The veteran Pakistani actress debunked news of an attempt on her life and revealed that she had said no such thing in a recent interview.

Reema Khan is Disappointed at the Media
The controversy surrounding Reema Khan and her near-death experience started when she gave an interview to a media outlet recently. In that interview, she alleged that a fellow actress tried to kill her via poisoning.
Rivalry in the workplace is a thing but poisoning someone is extreme. Its’s also unrealistic and yes things like that do not happen (unless you’re a spy like James Bond).
The actress was taken aback by how her statement had been blown out of proportion. This incident made Reema regret having even agreed to an interview. She wasn’t poisoned but the interview sure was.

Pakistani actress Reema Khan gave an interview to a private television channel. The actress said that a certain individual had tried to take her life. She then adding that ‘God saved her from the vicious attempt.’
“The person was given Rs 100,000 as a reward to poison me.”
This statement went viral, with many believing that a fellow actress had literally tried to poison Reema.
But here’s what Reema really said in the interview. She revealed that a fellow actress was told to deliver poison to her via food but didn’t go ahead with the attempt.
During the same interview, she threw a spotlight on the rampant culture of harassment in the entertainment industry. Reema affirmed that such behavior was still prevalent in the biz today.
Following Reema’s statement Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan urged the actress to identify the individual(s) that harassed her so that they could be held accountable.
While Reema Khan has addressed the attempted murder via poisoning rumor, she has not responded to Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan’s request and kept her silence.
