Saba Qamar Is a Possessive Wife In Abrar-ul-Haq’s ‘Begum Shak Karti Hai’

After making waves with Chamkeeli, Abrar-ul-Haq has another wedding anthem out just before the Shaddi season kicks off in full swing. Is ‘Begum Shak Karti Hai‘ set to be another cheeky wedding anthem?

His recent track is yet another hit with sarcastic dialogue aimed at the conundrum of marriage. The song talks about married men who fall prey to their wives’ mistrust. With the track even being titled ‘Begum Shak Karti Hai‘.

Begum Shak Karti Hai

Abrar-ul-Haq has cast several top actresses in his music videos before. For this new track, he had Saba Qamar take the spotlight. The I Love You Bunty actress plays a possessive wife who doesn’t trust her husband and goes after him. However, she later realizes her mistakes and the couple reconciles.

“Dedicated to all those who are too much married.”

As for the music itself, it sounds all too familiar. It sounds like a certain nursery rhyme the Billo singer previously trolled.

The track does contain more traditional Punjabi melodies, minus the Begum Shak chorus line.

Saba Qamar really added oomph to the song with her acting as a possessive wife. From her master plans to catch her husband red-handed to sending tracking drones to follow him.

Her antics added additional hilarious anecdotes to the song.

So can this be a new wedding party anthem as we see friends and family go down that road?
