Saba Qamar, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Ahsan Khan are teaming up for the small screen in the drama serial Fraud. Their on-screen dynamics have us excited.
Based on the teasers, it seems we’re looking at another ‘Tinder Swindler’ type story. We got a sneak peek at Ahsan Khan’s character and it seems he plays a conman. Hence why the drama serial is named ‘Fraud‘.
On the other hand, we see Saba Qamar playing a vivacious young woman. The daughter of a father who wants to empower his girls, and provide them with the best he possibly can. He also expects to find nothing short of the best partners for their daughters. As his girls deserve the best.
As fate would have it his daughter gets married to a conman or fraud.
Meanwhile, we also get to see Saba Qamar and Mikaal Zulfiqar pair up again after their last stint in Sangat. We see Mikaal playing a single father raising a young child alone. He is recently separated or divorced. This is why we see him explaining the absence of her mother to his daughter.
So how will Mikaal’s character fall into all of this? He may not seem like the ‘best’ option for a single young woman like Saba’s character. However, he seems to be an honest man, unlike Ahsan Khan’s charming conman.
The drama serial will go on air on May 14th. So just a few more days left till we find out!
