Actress Saba Qamar Zaman lost her elder brother, Raheem (aka Munna), today. Her manager, Meshal Cheema, confirmed the news on social media and the Kamli star shared an Istirja (a Quranic verse) on her Instagram story and wrote “Munna” with a broken heart emoji.
Meshal Cheema, who issued a statement on behalf of the actress, which read:
This is very very unfortunate and extremely shocking for me to announce that Saba’s brother has died today in the morning so everyone please take a moment and pray for the departed soul.
She added, “May Allah (SWT) grant him higher ranks in Jannah [Heaven] and give his family sabar [patience] to go through this loss. Ameen.”
The Ghabrana Nahi Hai star shares a close bond with her family but very private about her family as she hardly shares any pictures with them on social media. This is the second time, she has lost a loved one as her father passed away when she was very young.

Neither Saba Qamar nor her manager have disclosed any information about the tragic incident.
Saba Qamar is one of the most popular actresses in the Pakistani showbiz industry and is a household name in Pakistan and in India after having worked in several top Pakistani productions and in Bollywood.
On the work front, the 38-year-old actress has had a good year with hit projects like Ghabrana Nahi Hai and Kamli, and will soon be seen in the upcoming web series Mandi.
