Pakistan’s superstar, Sajal Aly, and Hollywood actress, Emma Thompson, celebrated What’s Love Got To Do With It? premiere with a little bhangra for the fans. The video clip of the Lollywood and Hollywood stars dancing together has gone viral on social media.
Jemima Khan Goldsmith’s cross-cultural rom-com had a star-studded premiere in the UK. The entire cast of the film was in attendance, including Lily James, Emma Thompson, and Sajal Aly along with director Shekhar Kapur.

Sajal Aly spoke to the reporters present during the premiere to give insight into her character ‘Zoya’. She said,
She’s the face of thousands of Pakistani and South Asian girls, and she is going to give a lot of strength and courage to them.
The actress also went on to explain that the audience will learn “how to rise in love, instead of falling in love”.
Directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and written and co-produced by Jemima Goldsmith, What’s Love Got To Do With It? stars Sajal Aly, Lily James, and Shahzad Latif.
The film is a heart-warming rom-com that follows the story of a filmmaker, Zoe (played by Lily James), who has a hard time finding her Mr. Right while experiencing bad dates. Meanwhile, her childhood friend and neighbor, Kazim (Shazad Latif), wants to follow his parents’ example by opting for an arranged marriage with a lady (Sajal Aly) from Pakistan.
