Sajal Aly has been Pakistan’s sweetheart since her Aasmano Pe Likha and Noor-ul-Ain drama days. Now the actress got nominated for yet another ‘Best Actress Award,’ this time for the Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA 2020).
With her doe eyes and youthful face, soon enough she was known to take on the role of the shy girl from Nahni to Gul-e-Rana. Along the way, the actress placed many ‘Best Actress’ awards to her name, with five wins at the Hum Awards 2019.
Later on, with O’Rangreeza, the actress started experimenting with different roles. Her recent drama serial Aangan had people fall in love with her vivacious, and mischievous ‘Chummi‘.

The MOM actress stook to Instagram to share the news. Voting is currently underway for PISA 2020. Fans of her outstanding performance in Aangan will definitely vote for her.
Aangan cast Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, and Mawra Hocane in lead roles. Other cast included Ahsan Khan, Sonya Hussain, Hira Mani, Rabia Butt, etc.
The period drama followed the story of three generations pre-Partition. Towards the end, the serial presented a family torn apart by geographical distance post-Partition.

Aangan saw real-life couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir united on-screen since Ahad’s debut in Yaqeen Ka Safar.
Yaqeen Ka Safar had their fans shipping to duo together. By the time Aangan was aired the two were engaged. Currently, the couple is sharing the screen once again in Ye Dil Mera. The duo were also supposed to be seen in a web series Dhoop Ki Dewar.
