Sajal Aly has an impressive fan following in Pakistan. Suprisingly, (or not so surprisingly) she also has a growing fan base across the border, of which Indian model Sonam Bajwa is a member.
The Street Dancer actress said so herself in an appearance on BBC Asian Network.
Audiences across the border are avid consumers of Pakistani television dramas. Just like us, they too have their favorite small-screen actors.
To add to that, her 2018 Bollywood flick Mom alongside Sridevi and Adnan Siddiqui elevated her fan base.

One of those admirers is Indian model and actor, Sonam Bajwa. Speaking to BBC Asian Network’s Haroon Rashid, the model revealed that she is a fan of Sajal. She’s lucky she knows the O’ Rangreeza actress personally.
“I’m the biggest, biggest fan of Sajal Aly. She is phenomenal and I feel so happy sharing that I’ve learnt so much from her, she’s extraordinary and I think you’d agree. She’s the best actress and the finest actress of our times…I really look up to her.”

Turns out she’s a fan of the Pakistani entertainment industry in general. Since Sonam Bajwa is a fan of the Pakistani entertainment industry, in general, she’s an avid consumer of small-screen content.
Much like us she’s hooked on Mere Pass Tum Ho these days.

 “I’m watching Alif, Mere Pass Tum Ho, Yeh Dil Mera. You’d be quite surprised, I live in Bombay but I mostly work in Punjab, it’s a small industry, we don’t have much to do or know but I know all about what’s happening in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, I know all the celebs, I know everything. I have some really close Pakistani friends, I know Sajal personally, Rabia [Butt] also. I religiously follow Pakistani dramas and I think they’re so amazing.”

Since Sajal Aly is well acquainted with Sonam Bajwa she posted a thank you for the model. In an Instagram story, Sajal posted:
