The film What’s Love Got To Do With It? is a heart-warming rom-com that follows the story of a filmmaker, Zoe (played by Lily James), who has a hard time finding her Mr. Right while experiencing bad dates. Meanwhile, her childhood friend and neighbor, Kazim (Shazad Latif), wants to follow his parents’ example by opting for an arranged marriage with a lady (Sajal Aly) from Pakistan.
We see Sajal going from a shy bride-to-be to losing it all and dancing her heart out at the wedding and it’s safe to say, she’s a stunner in both!
It features a stellar supporting cast including Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, and Emma Thompson, released on 27 January 2023. It also won the ‘Best Comedy’ award at the Rome Film Festival last year in October.
