Renowned Pakistani actress, Sana Fakhar, will be seen next in a horror drama serial. The news was confirmed by Sana herself while she was in a conversation with a local media outlet. The drama serial will be titled as Lal Mai.
Talking about her role in the drama, Sana said she is playing the leading role of a witch named Lal Mai.
“I’m playing the character of Lal Mai, a witch. It’s a very unconventional role, not one of those stereotypical ones.”
She went on to add that the drama has exactly everything as one would expect a horror flick to be.
It has suspense, it has horror, it’s a complete thriller,” Sana added.

Sana Fakhar Says This Is As Good As a Film
The Ye Dil Aapka Huwa actress and her team is treating the drama as nothing short of a film. They are putting in all their energies into making it a big success.
“The team – which I call the blockbuster team – behind this serial is treating it like a film project,” the actress said.
Lal Mai will be directed by Khalid Malik. Apart from Sana, the leading cast of this horror drama includes Taqi Ahmad and Saleem Mairaj.
Saleem Mairaj seems a right choice for the role as he was recently part of the Pakistani horror flick Pari.
The release date of Lal Mai is yet to be announced. However, Sana Fakhar confirmed that it will go on air on Hum TV channel.

Sana was recently seen in the drama serial Babban Khala Ki Betiyan which also aired on Hum TV.
Babban Khala Ki Betiyan claimed the top spot as the longest running Pakistani weekly series. Previously, Alif Allah Aur Insan held the top spot. Babban Khala Ki Betiyan comprised of 48 episodes which is a record for Pakistani TV.
