Sang-e-Mah has raised high expectations for the upcoming drama as it is the sequel to the drama serial Sang-e-Mar Mar which aired in 2016. The teaser for the highly-anticipated show is out and fans are loving it!
Sang-e-Mar Mar was a blockbuster serial of its time. The drama starred Nauman Ijaz, Sania Saeed, Kubra Khan, Mikala Zulfiqar, and Omair Rana in leading roles. The show depicted the story of a Pathan family, taking the audience on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Despite mixed reactions to the ending, Pakistani audiences enjoyed the show.
This upcoming sequel is part of a trilogy series (Sang-e-Mar Mar, Sang-e-Mah and Sang-e-Siyah). Sang-e-Mah will feature the same cast of Nauman Ijaz, Kubra Khan, and Sania Saeed reprising their roles as well as some new stars joining the cast.
Among the newest cast members is the gorgeous Hania Amir and Pakistan’s prolific singer and songwriter Atif Aslam!
Atif Aslam is back into the world of acting after his blockbuster debut on the silver screen with Bol in 2011. A few months backs the “Rafta Rafta: singer announced his TV debut for Sang-e-Mah to his fans. It will be fun to see what kind of a role the popular singer portrays.
