Pakistani fans can rejoice as various production houses resume activity following the end of lockdown restrictions. The latest television project to be announced is Wajahat Rauf’s drama serial Raqs-e-Bismil, which will feature the first-time pairing of talented actors Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan!
The upcoming drama will be Wajahat Rauf’s first television project after three years. Written by Hashim Nadeem, who rose to fame with Khuda Aur Mohabbat, the drama is a joint venture between Momina Duraid of MD Productions and Shazia Wajahat.

Apart from Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf as leads, the drama will feature big names like Saleem Mairaj, Mehmood Aslam, Anoushay Abbasi, Momin Saqib, Nida Mumtaz, Gul-e-Rana, and Furqan Qureshi. According to the producer, the drama will air on Hum TV and is more than just a story of love.

Fans are excited to see an onscreen romance between Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf. Both actors are on the top of their game, delivering stellar performances in every recent drama.
For Sarah, this will be her first project post-marriage with singer Falak Shabbir.
As for Imran Ashraf, he already has his schedule jam-packed as teasers from his next drama Mushk is already creating buzz and excitement nationwide. Not only that, but his big screen debut alongside Amar Khan in Mohammad Ehteshamuddin’s Dum Mastam is highly anticipated.
