Sarwat Gillani really blew up after being cast in Churails, a Zee5 web series. Meanwhile, Zahid Ahmed was last seen in an all-Pakistani web anthology series. He was cast in the short 2 sey 5, for Digestive Showtime Collection.
Now Mehreen Jabbar has cast Sarwat Gillani and Zahid Ahmed for a series written by Rida Bilal. The director also created a web series for Zee5 titled, Ek Jhooti Love Story. Ek Jhooto Love Story cast Bilal Abbas and Madiha Imam in lead roles.
Writer Rida Bilal is known for having penned drama serials like Khudgharz and Be Inteha. She also wrote the famous short film, Pehli Wali. Let’s see what the writer has in store for digital viewers.
Rumor has it, this web series, starring Sarwat Gillani and Zahid Ahmed, will follow individual journeys of people residing in Karachi. The platform for the web series is not yet known.
