Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shaheen Afridi exchanged heated words during the Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators match last night.
As the two were playing against each other, an incident occurred which generated mixed reactions from fans on Twitter. When Afridi hit a bouncer, the ball smacked Sarfaraz Ahmed’s helmet. However, he still managed to score a run.
This led to a heated argument where Sarfaraz said something to Afridi and he turned back to reply to him. Other players had to intervene to calm them down.

The clip is going viral on Twitter with #ShaheenAfridi and #SarfarazAhmed trending. Netizens are divided as some found no fault with what Afridi did, however, others think that he should not have reacted this way towards his senior and owes him an apology.
Shahid Hashmi was also critical of Afridi, and said that he ‘must respect his elders’. He shared his two cents on the matter. But on the other hand, sports journalist Roha Nadeem was of the opinion that Afridi had not broken any rules and he is not bound to respect his elders on the field.
Shaheen is not bound to respect elders on the field. He didn’t break any rules. This is a competition and seniors should develop thicker skin.
