Pakistan cricket team’s left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is all set to tie the knot with Ansha Afridi, daughter of Pakistan’s former ace cricket Shahid Afridi on 3 February, next year.
Last year, Shahid Afridi officially confirmed that his daughter Ansha Afridi is engaged to Shaheen Afridi by the consent of both families as the speedster is also a part of their ‘Afridi’ tribe.
Lately, in an interview, Shaheen Afridi confessed that he was the one who wanted to marry Ansha. “Yeh meri khuwaish thi,” Shaheen shyly admitted.
Shaheen Shah Afridi is a Pakistani professional cricketer who plays as a fast bowler for the Pakistan national cricket team. He made his international debut for Pakistan in April 2018 and his Test match debut for the national team in December 2018.
In 2017, Afridi gained the limelight as a 6-foot 6-inch 17-year-old Pakistani fast-bowling talent who bowled at 90 mph. He is considered an all-rounder and seeks to excel in bowling, batting, and fielding.

In August 2018, he was one of the thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The following year, Afridi was awarded the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy (Cricketer of the Year).
Afridi was named the captain of the Lahore Qalandars for the 2022 Pakistan Super League in late 2021.
It is pertinent to mention here that another star pacer, Haris Rauf, and opening batter, Shan Masood, will tie the knot in December and January, respectively.
