Shahid Afridi is a famous Pakistani cricketer, who is more well-known for his antics off the field than those on the field. Who can forget that time when he was known for holding the record of the fasted ODI century in just 37 deliveries? Those cricketing records are common knowledge.
But do you know how Boom Boom got married?
In an interview that’s now making rounds on social media, the famous all-rounder revealed that his marriage was arranged through his parents.
He also mentioned that when he first saw his wife’s pictures in makeup, he did not like her, at first. However, once he saw her without all of her makeup, he found her extremely beautiful.
When I first saw the picture of Nadia I didn’t like her, she was wearing a lot of makeup. Later on, when I saw her pictures without makeup I was satisfied.
Surprisingly, Nadia Afridi was never a fan of cricket. Afridi also revealed that he had never met Nadia in person before his wedding.
Having both male and female fans who love his personality and looks, Afridi’s wife was not cool with girls going gaga over him at first. But all in all, he is thankful for having a wonderful wife.
I’m lucky that Allah has given me an amazing wife. Having a wife by your side, who keeps you grounded, is very important.
