Some bad news for fans of actors Saba Qamar and Shamoon Abbasi. Apparently the pair has shot down news of signing the film ‘Dhai Chaal‘. This development came shortly after producer Dr. Irfan Ashraf said he had signed both actors for the film.
Earlier Entertainment.pk reported that producer Dr. Irfan Ashraf had told them that Saba Qamar will play the lead in the film. He also added that Shamoon Abbasi would be seen in a pivotal role too.
Reports even mentioned that actor Adnan Shah Tipu was on set shooting for the film. He said:
“Yes, the film is in the works. I have shot for two days”.

Furthermore, Shamoon Abbasi also took to social media to deny signing Dhai Chaal.

Both actors were calm about the whole situation. Shamoon Abbasi addressed the issue with poise while Saba Qamar had a laugh.
Dhai Chaal
The movie was apparently supposed to be about Kulbushan Jadav, the Indian spy caught and convicted in Pakistan.
Dhai Chaal refers to the knight’s move in chess.
According to Dr. Irfan Ashraf, the producer, this film is a love story and it revolves around Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.
“Its a love story and Kulbhushan makes an entry in this story.”

Shamoon Abbasi was rumored to be signed for the role of Kulbhushan Jadhav. Besides Adnan Shah Tipu Dhai Chaal cast Rasheed Naz and Saleem Mairaj.
The shoot for the film has started and the first spell of seven days has already finished. The next spell will start in October.
Directed by Taimur Shirazi, the film will hit screens next year. Probably without Saba and Shamoon.
