We’ve all had our fair share of bad online shopping experiences but Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha’s experience with it might just take the cake.
The actress ordered a pair of headphones online but was sent metal junk instead. The Akira starlet tweeted a picture of the strange but metal looking piece.

Sonakshi kept her humor about the experience and posted her version of ‘never judge a book by its cover.’
She even threw in some shade for Amazon’s customer support. We know these guys must have had the worst day, if they picked the phone up in the first place.
“Hey Amazon India! Look what I got instead of the Bose headphones I ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit… but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesn’t even want to help, that’s what makes it even worse.”

She then mentioned the price tag that came with Amazon India’s quality service. Guess that’s one delivery she’ll hold on to.
It should be mentioned that Amazon India’s Twitter handle immediately sprung to action when Sinha first filed her complaint. But that part about not picking up calls, that we can relate to as well.
Uh-oh! This is unacceptable! Apologies for the recent ordering experience and the subsequent correspondence with our support team. Please share your details here: https://t.co/vIE01Lj9nJ, we'll get in touch with you directly. ^JC

When Celebrities can Destroy Brands
A lot of people brush off celebs being forthcoming about bad service experiences as them being a entitled diva. Sonakshi’s reaction to the issue was far better handled than most celebrities. In fact this was as legit as bad customer service can be.
And then there are celebrities who use their starpower to crush brands, literally. This one time, Sia, the famous singer, went as far as to try and have a dry cleaners business closed down for providing her with unsatisfactory service.

She claimed that the cleaners ruined her things. The songstress carried out a Twitter rant against the small business, but luckily, Yelp stepped in as the responsible adult in the situation. It removed the crazy reviews that Sia’s fanbase was giving for a service they never used in the first place.
Great power, great responsibility, they say. But what about us poor folks like you and me? That is a question for another day.
