SRK’s Son Aryan Khan Arrested On Drugs Charges After Raid On Cruise Ship

Aryan Khan was arrested in connection with the seizure of banned drugs onboard a cruise ship

Bollywood superstar’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) following a raid at a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai for consumption of drugs. The NCB team boarded the Goa-bound ship disguised as passengers.

According to the reports, the bureau officials confiscated drugs from the cruise party. The charges brought against Aryan Khan and seven others include purchase, possession, and use of banned substances, the agency said. The suspects were searched and different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments, and purses.

A video of Aryan Khan leaked while being interrogated by the NCB officials following the drugs case.

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted leaving his home and heading for his lawyer’s office shortly before the arrest was confirmed. Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde demanded bail, saying that his client had been arrested only on the basis of chat messages.

“Aryan had no ticket, no cabin or seat onboard the cruise. He was there because he had been invited. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Nothing has been found on him. He was arrested on the basis of chat only.”

Aryan Khan is to remain in custody till Oct 4th.

The cruise company stated that

“Cordelia Cruises is in no way, directly or indirectly, connected to this incident. Cordelia Cruises had chartered its ship for a private event to a Delhi-based event management company,” Jurgen Bailom, Chief Executive Officer and President, Waterways Leisure Tourism Pvt Ltd said in a statement.
