Syra Yousuf adores her daughter Nooreh, but at the same time she is worried that trolls or controversies about either of her parents might get to her. In a candid conversation with Maliha Rehman, the actor opened up about her concerns for her daughter.

In March 2020, Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari parted ways after seven years of marriage. Several controversies were unearthed at the time of their divorce and Shahroz’s marriage with Sadaf Kanwal further added fuel to the fire.

As shocking as it was, Shahroz and Sadaf’s statements invited more criticism and the two dominated headlines for weeks. Meanwhile, Syra stayed mum on the matter and the public appreciated her. The controversies certainly kept her worried, but rather about her daughter Nooreh.

Syra Yousuf strives hard to prepare her daughter for the world outside

In a recent interview with Maliha Rehman, Syra Yousuf opened up about her concerns for her daughter regarding the controversies revolving around her divorce with Shahroz Sabzwari.

“You and her father are famous. You are also in the midst of controversies every now and then. Does it worry you that when Nooreh gets older, these controversies might get to her?,” asked Maliha.

To this, the Project Ghazi actor replied,

“A parent’s job is to worry. I do worry a lot about such things, but I think how I manage to deal with such stress is that I’m only responsible for my actions. I can do the best for her and for myself and meanwhile, I can just prepare her for what it can be out there.”

Syra also shared that there are times when she has to have honest conversations with Nooreh. As a mother, she strives hard to prepare her for what’s coming ahead.

“I am actually very close to her and we have honest conversations about things. I personally believe that when you are upbringing your child you have to prepare them for what’s out there, but also let them know that you are safe and secure if you’ve got a good compass within yourself”, she concluded.
