The teaser only gave us a glimpse of Mahira Khan in uniform to essay the role of Nigar Johar. People are loving the look.

While we know Bilal Ashraf is also a part of the Aik Hai Nigar cast, the teaser gave no insight into other characters. The rest of the cast includes names like Sohail Sameer and Khushal Khan.

However, the teaser did give away the fact that the project was filmed at Army Medical College (AMC) Rawalpindi. No wonder AMC students are excited about the project.

Looks like the biopic will go as far back as the General’s student days preceding her professional life.

This telefilm marks Mahira Khan’s second project as a producer. She’s co-producing the telefilm with Nina Kashif under the banner of their production house Soulfry Films. Her production debut, Bharwan Khiladi is also in the pipeline.

About ‘Ek Hai Nigar’

Nigar Johar is a surgeon of the Medical Corps of the Pakistan Army who has devoted her life to working in the field of military medicine. She’s been working in the medical field since 1985.

We haven’t had a project celebrating military servicewomen since the Urdu1 telefilm Aik Thi Maryam. The public definitely wants more such projects.
