The Batman Himself Robert Pattinson Contracts Coronavirus

Filming has been halted for now.

2020 has taught us that nothing is predictable. We understood that notion, even more, when Robert Pattinson was cast for the role of Batman. Unfortunately, he has now contracted the coronavirus and the filming of a much-anticipated movie has paused.

Vanity Fair reported that they gathered this information from a highly reliable source. However, Warner Bros. is reluctant to share anything. Without mentioning names, they said:

A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.

Warner Bros. had stopped working along with other entertainment companies due to an increased rate of COVID-19 cases. It had only been a few days since the filming of The Batman resumed.

Filmmaker Matt Reeves will be directing The Batman where he will be seen as a young vigilante. During his second year of vigilantism, Batman will be seen solving gruesome killings. On his journey, he will be met with people like The Riddler, Selina Kyle, and The Penguin.

Let’s take a look at the trailer:

Regarding the movie, Reeves said:

It’s a criminological experiment. He’s trying to figure out what he can do to finally change this place. You see that he’s charting what he’s doing, and he’s seeing he isn’t having any of the effect that he wants to have yet.

The murders start to happen, and the murders start to describe a history of Gotham. It only reinforces what he knows about Gotham, but opens up a whole world of corruption that went much further.

We hope that if Robert Pattinson has contracted coronavirus, he recovers soon.
