It’s official! Humayun Saeed has been cast in the next season of The Crown. There had been rumors that the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor was set to star in the fiction series based on the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
The veteran Pakistani actor-cum-filmmaker will be playing the role of surgeon Dr. Hasnat Ahmed. The Pakistani doctor was allegedly Lady Diana’s ‘true love’. The man the tabloids stated she referred to ‘Mr. Wonderful’.
The news of the announcement has sent social media in a frenzy. Netizens are going very happy to see one of Pakistan’s most prolific actor getting a prominent role in a hit Netflix series. Humayun Saeed is a Pakistani actor and producer. The Mere Pass Tum Ho star is also a co-founder of the production house Six Sigma Plus. The house produces television drama serials and commercial movies. He has appeared in dozens of Pakistani television dramas and a limited number of films and earned numerous awards.
Ironically, Humayun Saeed is also working in the production of London Nahi Jaunga. The film is a sequel to is blockbuster Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
