The Oscars also debuted the first full-length trailer of the live-action adaptation of The Lion King.
The Disney classic’s new trailer is an emotional roller-coaster and bound to send you down memory lane.
The nostalgic full-length trailer is true to the 1994 animated original The Lion King, much like the teaser trailer. So far it seems the reboot’s storyline will be a replica of the original.
If the film-makers did switch it up, no further plot details were revealed. Seeing more of the computer-animated Simba was a real treat.
Besides the trailer, Disney also put out another poster for the reboot.

The movie will also see the return of James Earl Jones for the voice of Mufasa.
Others in The Lion King voice cast include Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce as Nala and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar.
The film-makers onboard for this project are also the team behind The Jungle Book. While The Lion King director Jon Favreau, is the man behind Iron Man, Elf, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The teaser trailer bagged a record 224.6 million views in its first 24 hours. Will the full-length trailer do as well?
