1. Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner is still the highest paid model this year and she earned a gross total of USD 22.5 million till June 2018.
That’s more than she earned last year given her grand total income of 2017 was 22 million dollars.
While some in the industry struggle to get paid, Kendall’s takeaway is insane.
Kendall’s earning come not only from the runway and her agreements with high end fashion such as Estée Lauder but from endorsements as well. This also includes her takeaways from Instagram.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan make more than most models from their reality television show alone. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is what landed the Jenner sisters on the map to begin with.
2. Karlie Kloss
Second place went to Karlie Kloss. The coding queen (yes she’s not just gorgeous but super smart as well) took home 13 million dollars this year.
Besides the runway she has catalog contracts with Estée Lauder, Adidas and jewelry giant Swarovski.
3. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley came in third place with 11.5 billion dollars under her belt.
The British mother of one is best known due to her works with Victoria’s Secret and her film roles. The former VS angel is also a businesswoman.
3. Chrissy Teigen
Third place was tied between Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Chrissy Teigen, another former VS model. Chrissy Teigen is more known for her work with Sports Illustration though.
Teigen is also an author and has published cookbooks as well. She signed a deal with Blue Apron, a food company that caters to modern health enthusiasts.
4 and 5. Cara Delevingne and Gisele Bündchen
Another British street wear icon Cara Delevingne made it in the top 5. The British beauty is tied with Brazillian bombshell Gisele Bündchen at 10 million dollars this year.
Both women are renowned for their personal styles as well. They have featured on the runway, walking for brands like Victoria’a Secret.
Cara is also the new face of Dior lipstick.
A large social media following was a common theme among this year’s toppers. Many girls on this year’s list are partial Insta-models.Till 2017, Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bündchen was always in the top 5 but the new girls pushed her back. The serial model number one kept the throne between 2007 to 2106, even though she retired in 2015.
7. Gigi Hadid
Coming in fifth among the ranks is Gigi Hadid. Beauty does run in the family, given that the daughter of Dutch model Yolanda Foster started modelling at the age of 8 for Guess Kids.
Now a Victoria’s Secret model, the Californian made 9.5 million dollars this year.
8 and 9. Bella Hadid and Joan Smalls
Gigi’s little sister Bella Hadid followed suit not just career-wise but also on the list, making 8.5 million dollars this year.
The brunette among the Hadids initially didn’t want to do what her mom and sister were doing, but now she’s giving Gigi close competition.
Joan Smalls, the American Victoria’s Secret model, also took home 8.5 million dollars this year. The Puerto Rician beauty is the first Latina to be signed by Estee Lauder.
10. Doutzen Kroes
Close behind the two models is Victoria Secret’s angel Doutzen Kroes, with 8 million dollars worth in earnings.
The Dutch beauty is mostly known for her work with Victoria Secret but she’s also a philanthropist and has made cameos in Wonder Woman and Justice League.
