When it comes to international relations there is always some tension and hostility present between Pakistan and India. However, it is true when they say that art and creativity know no bounds. This was proven once again recently as Indian comedian Bharti Singh praised Pakistani actor Faisal Qureshi and his game show!
Bharti is a well-respected comedian known for her wit and comic timing. Her hilarious and charming personality has made her a very popular stand-up comedian in India.
Recently in a video, she praised Pakistani actor Faisal Qureshi’s with a hashtag: #KhushRahoPakistan. In a now-viral video, Bharti sends all Pakistanis her love and well wishes. She said,
“I wish all Pakistanis who are a part of the global comedy family live happily and safely.”
It is quite a rare sight nowadays to see actors/actresses or entertainers, in general, promoting friendship, love and goodwill. It is refreshing to see creativity, and the people attached to it, soar above all the hatred and negativity.
We do hope this loving gesture doesn’t land Bharti in some trouble with the Indian government and public.
