She is a visual artist and graduated from the Center of Excellence Art and Design at Mehran University in Jamshoro.

Rizvi said, “Globally, different nations make plays and documentaries to pay tribute to their national heroes, but we don’t remember our national heroes, so I thought of making portraits of my 100 heroes.”

So far, her collection of tribute paintings includes Abdul Sattar Edhi, Pir Sibghatullah Rashidi alias Surya Badshah, a former leader of the Hur movement fighting against the British rule, former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Haider Bakhsh Jatoi, the famous Sindhi singer Alan Faqir.

What’s next for this budding artist? Rizvi gives us an inkling of her next projects:

‘I will make a portrait of the famous Sindhi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai as well as his heroes, who are the heroes of Bhittai. Many centuries ago, when women were not given much importance in history, King Abdul Latif Bhattai broke the stereotypes and said that a woman is a hero, she is a warrior. “

She has had a total of eighty exhibitions and her work has been exhibited outside Pakistan as well including; USA, Italy and Malaysia.
