‘TikTok Daddy’ Ordered To Appear in Court For Using Kids To Gain Followers

Here’s what happened.

TikTok Dad

A woman in Peshawar took to the Family Court to appeal for the maintenance of her kids and their custody from the father. With the help of advocates Saifullah Muhib Kakakhel and Mehwish Muhib Kakakhel, she filed two petitions against her husband Waheed Murad.

The woman claims to be Waheed’s third out of the four wives. She says he has 13 children altogether and had divorced two wives before these 4 marriages.

Waheed allegedly does not care for his wives, nor his children. He would only offer his fatherly duties to children who made TikTok videos like himself.

The defendant has 114,000 followers on TikTok. Two of the petitioner’s sons have started making videos with him. Waheed also stopped sending his sons to school in an attempt to encourage them to make more TikTok videos.

While the wife accuses him of being physically abusive towards her for sending the kids to school, she says he has also stopped sending the kids for Quran lessons. The defendant has taken two of his 7-year-old sons to make TikTok videos with them.

The family Judge, Mr. Samiullah Khan, has ordered Waheed Murad to present himself before the court for hearing on the 2nd of April.
