A first information report (FIR) was filed against him and several officers under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), as announced by authorities on April 18.
The video, which spread like wildfire on social media, shows Zameer at a wedding wearing a police uniform. He hands a tray of cash to real officers before tossing notes over guests, an act the FIR says insulted the uniform’s dignity. Zameer made matters worse by using artificial intelligence to alter the officers’ uniform colors, adding fuel to the controversy.
Reports reveal a troubling issue within the Punjab Police, with claims that Zameer used his connections in the force for personal gain. Shockingly, some officers allegedly worked for him for as little as Rs. 5,000 a day, raising questions about integrity in the department.
