The controversy surrounding Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s recently song, Besharm Rung, from their upcoming film, Pathaan, is still going strong. Now the Ayodha-based Saint Paramhans Acharya issued death threats to the superstar, and also called him ‘jihadi’.
The seer of Tapasvi Chhavni said In a violent statement that he would burn the legendary actor alive if he ever met him.

Deepika Padukone wore skimpy, saffron-colored outfits and danced sensuously to the peppy track which ignited the backlash.
According to the reports, Acharya said that the color saffron, which is associated with Hinduism, has been insulted in the song.
He stated,
People of our Sanatan Dharma are protesting continuously regarding this. Today we have burnt the poster of Shahrukh Khan. If I get to meet the film Jihadi Shah Rukh Khan, I will burn him alive. And before burning him, I will tear his skin off.
Acharya also called for a ban on the release of the movie and claimed that he will burn the cinemas where the movie is released.
This is not the first time a religious group has objected to a song for hurting Hindu sentiments. The group in question also raised eyebrows at the intense chemistry between Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh in the song and deemed her outfits to be objectionable.
BJP Home Minister Narottam Mishra, President of the Indian party ‘Sanskriti Bachao Manch’, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, and the priest of Hanuman Garhi, Mahant Raju Das, protested against the Sidharth Anand directorial.
However, the makers and Shah Rukh Khan have not issued any response to or clarification for the ongoing controversy.
Siddharth Anand’s action thriller Pathaan is set to hit theatres on 25 January 2023. Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, and Altee’s Jawan in the pipeline as well.
