Maha Shah’s alleged suicide shocked the whole country, and social media is still in a frenzy. People still can’t believe that a young doctor and social media influencer passed away in the manner she did.
According to reports, the bullet that killed Maha was fired from the pistol on the back of her head, which has raised several questions surrounding her death. It is alleged that the position of her wounds opens up the possibility of foul play. Whether it’s a suicide or a murder is still being investigated.
“Nothing could be said exactly. It is yet to be ascertained if it was a murder or a suicide,” says Gizri SHO Pervez Methani.

Ushna Shah is doubtful
Actress Ushna Shah also expressed her doubts about the cause of Maha’s death. She took to her Instagram and shared a picture of the deceased doctor.
Referring to reports claiming that Maha Shah allegedly committed suicide, the actress wrote,
“Gunshot wounds to the back of one’s head can not be self-inflicted.”
She also urged Sindh police to investigate the case thoroughly and not disappoint this time.
Further details suggest that the deceased was laid to rest in her hometown Mirpurkhas on Thursday.
To record the statements of Dr. Maha Shah’s family members and relatives, the police went to Mirpurkhas yesterday.
The police are currently verifying the weapon used in the incident, which was reported to be a 9mm pistol. They said a firearm would be registered if the murder was confirmed, however, the deceased’s family has refused to initiate any legal proceedings into the matter.
