Usman Mukhtar has a piece of advice for those who are not taking the pandemic seriously and we totally agree with him. The shaadi season is in full swing which means that desis will be hosting grand meet-ups and dinners.
Although marriage halls have been restricted with certain SOPs, large scale gatherings are still being observed. Desi weddings come with a complete package of entertainment and festivities, but keeping the global crisis of COVID-19 in mind, we have to take a step back and make health our first priority.
Taking to his Instagram, Usman Mukhtar urged people to follow SOPs, especially while attending weddings. Dancing ‘chipak chipak ke’ is fun and all, but we need to be cautious for the sake of our loved ones. He made a quirky announcement, and then went on to educate his followers.
“Shadi!! Dance!! Food!! Now that I have your attention. I see your stories in shadi places dancing chipak ke with each other. Stop it. Please follow SOPs!! Care about yourself and if not yourself then the unsuspecting people around you who you’re going to give the virus to. This is life and death. Please be cautious.”
It is pertinent to note that the actor himself contracted the virus in October while filming the final episodes of Sabaat. A few days later, his co-star Ameer Gillani also reported that his test results came out positive. However, they have now fully recovered from the virus and are doing well.
