Former supermodel and actress, Vaneeza Ahmed was a guest on GMP Shan e Suhoor. She revealed a lot about her personal life including losing her father at an early age, getting married to her old friend, and the sudden demise of her younger sister. We love how Vaneeza has always been like an open book and doesn’t feel shy to share her life story with her fans.

Vaneeza Ahmed reveals details of sister’s accidents
However, she left many people heartbroken with the tragic recount of her sister’s death who was just 24 years old. “My sister was in Islamabad with her friends when the accident happened. Three of the girls died on spot including Isha, my younger sister,” said Vaneeza.
“Her death changed me in a lot of ways, it left me sad and depressed but at the same time I became closer to God because I realized all of this is temporary,” she added further.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time when the supermodel experienced grief. In the past as well she experienced monumental loss when she lost her father at the age of 18. “I grew up in many ways after my father’s demise. That’s when I actually started working because I had responsibilities over my shoulders.”
Settling down
After working in the fashion industry for almost 20 years, Vini decided to start a new chapter of her life with her old friend Ali Afzal Malik. The two got married in an intimate ceremony in 2010 with just 60 people around.
“It was my demand to have a very simple wedding and that’s how I did it. I was so scared of marriage that I didn’t give myself any time to think and I just dived in. We literally got married in three days.” revealed Vini.
She is now permanently settled in Islamabad where she leads a peaceful life with her husband and two daughters.
