Waseem Badami Puts Blame on Iqrar-ul-Hasaan After Majid Jahangir’s Death

“It wasn’t me, it was Iqrar who promised a car”

Majid Jahangir, the comedian who accused television broadcasters, Waseem Badami and Iqrar-ul-Hassan of deception, passed away this morning.

The death of Majid Jahangir has brought up a lot of questions regarding the claims made by him and the response of the accused parties. In response, Waseem Badami posted a video from Makkah where he is currently performing Umrah to address the allegations.

Badami denied any wrongdoing and stated that he did not promise a Toyota Corolla, instead, it was Iqrar-ul-Hassan who had mentioned the possibility of a Mehran car with the help of ARY Digital’s owner.

The Shaan e Ramadan host also emphasized the fact that any pledges made on the show were not always followed through.

Waseem Badami also added that he had no issue with the late Jahangir, but urged people to research their accusations before blaming others.

However, the timing and content of Badami’s response video has been questioned as the deceased actor is no longer able to counter or refute the host’s statements.

Have a look at the video:

The video serves no purpose and could be seen as insensitive toward the late comedian’s family and loved ones.

It is important to note that the death of the actor does not invalidate the accusations made by him and it is the responsibility of the concerned authorities to investigate these claims and bring the truth to light.
