After stirring her magic on screen with a phenomenal performance in the drama serial Dobara, Hadiqa Kiani is starring in the new drama Pinjra that will begin airing today.
The Dupatta crooner will be playing a mother figure in this drama as well.
Pinjra’s first episode will be a double episode and will start tonight at 8 PM.
Note that the actress made her debut with the drama serial Raqeeb Se as the female lead in the powerful character of a battered mother
The star-studded cast of the new drama includes the top actors Omair Rana, Zhalay Sarhadi, and Sunita Marshall, among others. Meanwhile, fans are having high hopes for their favorite, Hadiqa Kiani.
Pinjra is a story of the pressure and prejudice that children in our society face, written by Asma Nabeel. Not much is known about it but the teaser seems intriguing.
Let’s see if Pinjra will go on to garner accolades as Dobara did.
Hadiqa Kiani is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, actress, and philanthropist. She has received numerous local and international awards and also has even performed at the Royal Albert Hall and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Besides Urdu and Punjabi, Hadiqa Kiyani has also sung several songs in Pakistan’s regional languages, and even in French.
Apart from her contributions to the music and acting fields, Kiani has always been involved in philanthropic activities, and she is currently working on the ground to assist Pakistan’s flood-affected communities.
