Starring Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt, the drama will go on air in Ramazan. Although Suno Chanda will not make a return, however, the alternative being provided is not bad at all. The trailer of the drama recently dropped and here is what we’re expecting from this new production.
1. Coming together of an awesome cast
Chupkay Chupkay has a great ensemble cast, from Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt in the lead roles to Mira Sethi, Asma Abbas, Ali Safina, and digital sensation Arsalan Naseer of the Comics By Arsalan (CBA) fame, every character seems a perfect fit for the drama. The characters already seem relatable and quirky. And we certainly can’t wait to see Asma Abbas as a naughty and funny character. Her comic timings is indeed one the best!
2. An awesome screenplay and storyline
It’s exciting to see that writer of Suno Chanda, Saima Akram Chaudhry has penned the story of this drama as well. As we’ve all seen that Saima loves showing family drama in a lighter way and we are expecting the same from her this time as well. The taunts, the taanas, the cute internal politics, everything will be a delight to watch.
3. Empowered female characters
The best thing about the play is that there are no helpless ladies mourning over their dismal luck. Instead, we see wise and witty girls who are in their element. They laugh, they speak up and they mingle around. Ayeza Khan is seen in a totally different light this time and we’re just loving it!
