‘Who is her stylist?’: Sajal Aly Opts For Fusion Look with Black Blazer and Gharara At TIFF, Gets Mixed Reactions

Recently, actress Sajal Aly was in Ontario, Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival for the screening of her film What’s Love Got To Do With It? She and the rest of the cast were present, including the filmmaker Jemima Goldsmith.

What’s Love Got To Do With It? is a heart-warming rom-com that follows the story of filmmaker Zoe (played by Lily James). Lily has a hard time finding her “Mr. Right”, experiencing bad dates. While her childhood friend and neighbor Kazim (Shazad Latif) wants to follow his parents’ example by opting for an arranged marriage with a bride (Sajal Aly) from Pakistan. The film features a stellar supporting cast that includes Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, and Emma Thompson.

The Khel Khel Mein starlet stole the limelight with her confident appearance and charm on the red carpet but her look was a flop in eyes of fans. They think she could have done better than this. Here are a few snaps of our superstar making us proud on an international platform.

The O’Rangreza star opted for a fusion look with a black blazer and gharara. She went for a bold glam-up with kohl eyes and dark lippies. For accessories, she went for bangles.

As soon as the pictures from the event went viral, although the whole of Pakistan is feeling proud, her wardrobe was a big disaster. Netizens blame her stylist for this flop look which is a mixture of western and eastern. They think she could have done it better for her appearance on an international platform.   1. As in flag colors, majority n minority is represented, same as she’s representing two cultures in a new way….. Sometimes something should be different.. people shouldn’t taunt her like that.. novelty should also be acceptable ……

    • Exactly,the thing is that the majority of Pakistani awam don’t appreciate their actresses,they always judge their outfits and make fun of their looks
