Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz are the latest celebrities to get the COVID-19 shot, however, their maskless videos have upset netizens.
Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz shared that they got vaccinated at South City Hospital and posted the videos/pictures on their Instagram handles.
“Ist dose of covid19 vaccine from South City hospital,” they wrote.
However, the public is disappointed to see them without masks. A lot of netizens have taken to the comment section to share their concerns.
One wrote,
“You’re getting vaccine to be safe from covid 19 but what about wearing a mask?”
Another Instagram user expressed her disappointment and said,
“Where’s the masks?!?! These ‘celebrities’ should be fined when they share pictures in public without masks. Their grand parties with no sop’s should be made an example off. The elite is actually the jaahil awam that never left their socializing, big shaadis, and birthday parties. Don’t blame ghareeb awam who are uneducated. These apparently educated rich people are the real culprits.”
Earlier, renowned Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui had received the first jab of the vaccine. Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared his experience and shared a video while getting the vaccine. He went on to write,
“The onus to combat the pandemic is on us. Those who are sceptical of whether to go ahead with the vaccine or not, as someone who’s got inoculated recently, my vote is with the vaccination. Yet, please consult your personal doctor, specially those who are on medication or are immuno compromised.”
