The Legend of Maula Jatt has been one of the most awaited movies ever. Due to its glamorous star cast, people cannot wait to watch the movie. But unfortunately, there has been a fiasco going on with the real Maula Jatt creator who claimed copyright violation against Bilal Lashari. Later Lashari ended up halting the movie production.
With passing time and court hearings, the movie sunk deeper into legal troubles with its ongoing copyright case. It later turned out Sarwar Bhatti doesn’t own the patent for the 1979 Punjabi classic Maula Jatt.
Still, there hasn’t been any solution to this feud between Sarwar Bhatti and Bilal Lashari that was announced officially. But the fans are eager to watch the movie and are already captivated by the trailer that was released earlier in 2019. But unfortunately, the movie is still in dire straits.
Recently, a desperate fan turned to Twitter and wrote to Lashari that
If Maula Jatt comes out this year I swear I’ll watch it every day in cinemas till it runs.
To which Bilal replied

After several release dates, it has been revealed that The Legend Of Maula Jatt is set to release on September 30th, 2022. However, there hasn’t been any date revealed officially. We hope that we get to watch this movie soon.
The movie stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi Mahira Khan and Humaima Malick among many others, and people are going gaga to watch the movie.
The Maula Jatt films are based on a short story by Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi titled Gandasa, which essentially borrows characters from the folk tales of Punjab.
